Enzymes For Inflamation

Posted by:

This is not an infomercial!  Just a personal testimony.

As you know I am a registered nurse.  I am western trained.  Yes I am also a huge proponent of natural medicine and healing.  I live in both worlds pretty nicely.  So when I have pain I am open to the methods of both worlds to help my body heal.

About 18 months ago I injured my right shoulder.  The deltoid muscle and ligament to be exact.  It hurt when I was sleeping…. like a nagging tooth ache.  Pouring a cup of coffee (yes I drink coffee) it felt weak.  My husband, a physician, offered me a round of prednisone.  I resisted until after months of suffering I had to give it a go.  It didn’t help.  Advil worked some but not enough to be worth the tummy risk.

I am blessed to have a wonderful chiropractor, Kay Anderson, attend my yoga classes.  Several of our students who are dealing with some sort of pain went to see her professionally.  They came back to class and shared a little secret with the rest of us.  For those dealing with inflamation she had suggested they take something called Ultra Inf-Zyme Forte; a dietray supplement of complex and proteolytic enzymes.  Ok.  Basically these are digestive enzymes.  So how do they help inflamation?  The information I was given is that when taken on an empty stomach (very important) they go to work on any inflamation in the body.  Sounds interesting.  So I tried them.

24 hours later my shoulder did not hurt AT ALL!  I’m serious.  My husband was suspecious… so we watched my progress with one eye brow raised.  A week went by and still feeling good.  I took the three tablets morning and evening – on empty stomach, until all 90 pills were consumed.  That was three weeks ago.  My shoulder is still feeling great.  I can tell there is still some healing going on, but there is no ache or sleep disturbance what so ever.  I’m thrilled.  It’s worth a try if you are dealing with inflamation… I don’t see them, I am not invested in the company (although it’s not a bad idea), I have nothing to gain by you buying and trying these.  Only that I can feel good about passing along information about something that has helped me and many other people I know personally.

There are several on line companies you can purchase these from…. Here is ONE such company… or you can contact Dr. Kay Anderson for more information.

I have been using these now for several months. I ran out of the first bottle and was feeling so good I decided I didn’t need anymore. I was wrong. After a couple of weeks my shoulder started acting up so I started back on them. They do help and I’d rather take these than advil or tylenol. I take a few at least once a day and it seems to keep my shoulder feeling good.
I’d love to hear your experiences here too…
